Radiant School of Ministry LAUNCH is a program designed for working adults across the United States. The program is designed to give you the training and practical ministry experience that you need to pursue God’s call to ministry. LAUNCH is a two-year program made up of three primary components that will uniquely train you to serve in a local church body.
The LAUNCH program is a unique blend of 4 primary components
Mentoring and Discipleship
We will empower you and your local pastor to forge a mentoring relationship that will support your growth ministerially and educationally. You will meet with your Mentoring Pastor two times per month. These meetings will focus on equipping you to do the work of the ministry, as well discussing and developing you in topics such as ministry skills, theology, leadership principles, and more.
In addition to your Mentoring Pastor, you will also have a “Discipleship Partner”. This person will focus on practically discipling you, giving you accountability, and caring for your heart. The minimum requirement is to meet with your Discipleship Partner at least once a month, but more frequent meetings are encouraged.
Ministry Experience
You will also serve under your Mentoring Pastor completing between 6-8 hours of practical ministry per week in your local church. This may range from experiences in kid’s ministry to the parking team, planning services to event set up, or janitorial services to preaching. The goal is to gain a broad range of ministry experiences and to have opportunities to practically apply what you are learning in class.
Distance Classes
You will learn through distance classes created especially for this program by front-line pastors and leaders. Using a mix of online discussion, live online interaction with teachers, and quality video content – you will receive the real-world training you need to be effective in ministry.
Equipping Retreats
Your cohort will gather in Kalamazoo, MI, 3 times each year for retreats that will include in-person training from world-class leaders and ministers as well as application sessions to put into practice these powerful skills. Each life-changing retreat will build upon the last to prepare you for ministry leadership.
Cost
The cost for the LAUNCH program is $3,200 per year.
This includes the distance-learning classes, equipping retreats, and your hands-on ministry experience as we partner with your local pastor. As the student, you will be responsible for purchasing your books and the traveling expenses incurred to attend the equipping retreats.
For 3 or more students from the same church, we offer a discount that will be applied directly to your tuition.
